Now, with the FMC devices, it is possible to read the signals and perform the control function directly in the field saving the wiring cost. The FMC Series are Field mounted modules for logic and analog control, fully programmable from PC by Function Blocks. The programmed functions in the modules are executed independently by each one of them, and exchanging data through the FMC-1000/LM module with Linker function operating as communication master of the field bus. In option, communication with Profibus or Ethernet networks is possible through “gateway” module communication adapter to Modbus, allowing the bus to “see” them as a single device
