The Netsonix system is an ethernet-based unit, designed with its intended use for all SCADA and PLC systems. Data acquired by the Netsonix units is converted to Ethernet (TCP/IP protocol). The Netsonix can then be connected directly into a LAN (Local Area Network) from where the customer is able to view it on his SCADA package using KAB OPC server. Not only can process conditions be monitored, but the customer is also able to view the operational status of the instrument. The customer is also capable of making changes to the parameters in the setup menu to suit conditions on the plant. The parameter changes are made possible by the integrated OPC server.
